Ron Henriksen

Chairman of the Board

Ron Henriksen is the Chairman of the Board of LOGIX Communications. After graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Ron began pursuing his career as a corporate pilot, along with other entrepreneurial interests.

In 1983, Ron became interested in opportunities in the telecommunications field and founded American Telco, a long-distance provider that grew to eleven sales offices with over 300 employees throughout Texas. American Telco had more than 23,000 customers when it was sold in June 1998 and later renamed LOGIX Communications.

In 2000, Ron formed American Lightwave Communications, a CLEC and ISP providing business customers with local phone service, long distance and Internet access.

Ron formed Western Communications in late 2002, a company that purchased select customers and assets of both LOGIX and American Lightwave Communications. Western Communications now operates under the name LOGIX Communications, LP.

Matt Asmus

Chief Executive Officer

Matt Asmus is Chief Executive Officer of LOGIX Communications. As CEO, Matt manages the company’s daily operations by providing strategic direction and planning to achieve PERFECT service for every LOGIX customer. Matt’s “customer-friendly” service approach is a hallmark of his philosophy to make LOGIX the easiest telecommunications company to do business with.

Matt’s broad range of experience in the telecommunications industry began in 1990 with American Telco where he was responsible for field service operations, dedicated access services, operator services, customer service activities and carrier access billing. Through the acquisition of American Telco, Matt joined LOGIX in 1998 where he held the positions of Senior Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Services. Prior to being named CEO, Matt was Chief Operating Officer of LOGIX Communications from 2000 to 2006.
Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University.

Craig Sheetz

Chief Financial Officer

Craig Sheetz rejoined LOGIX in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer where he is responsible for management and leadership of the company's financial activities.

Craig has served the wireless industry in executive capacities as the Chief Financial Officer of Sygnet Wireless, Chief Operating Officer of Cellular One of Northeast Michigan, and Executive Vice President of Dobson Communications. Previously, Craig was the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of LOGIX from 2000 until 2003. He was employed at Mellon Bank and PNC Financial.

Craig holds an MBA from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business, and is a graduate of Albion College.

Ken Bonvillian

Vice President - Network Economics

Ken has more than twenty years of telecommunications experience that ranges from a technical to financial background. Ken joined LOGIX in June 2001 and oversees the company’s long distance, toll-free and international operational network costs.

Prior to joining LOGIX, Ken was Vice President of Network Operations for Plexnet Communications where he served since 1999. At Plexnet he directed the launch of telephony voice mail services over digital facilities in six markets. From 1995 to 1999, he was Vice President of Network Operations for CapRock Communications. Ken also served as Director of Network Operations for American Telco from 1985 to 1995 and held a number of positions at South Central Bell Telephone Company from 1979 to 1983.

Anthony Brown

Vice President - Local Network Costs

Anthony joined LOGIX in 1997 and was named Vice President of Local Network Costs in September 2002. His responsibilities include overseeing all data operations, engineering and voice translations, as well as the installation, disconnect and transfer of services. Anthony is also responsible for all local network facility costs of the company.

Previously Anthony served as Vice President of Operations where he was responsible for field operations, data operations, translations, engineering, network provisioning and deployment. Prior to LOGIX, he was employed by Fort Mojave Telecommunications as plant manager, where he designed and implemented the communications infrastructure from the beginning stages of the company. Anthony also worked for McLoud Telephone Company for 13 years as installation repair technician, central office technician, engineer, OSS designer and special project coordinator.

Anthony attended Tulsa University and Texas A&M University.

Terry Burnside

Vice President - Building Access & Fiber Network Construction

Terry Burnside is Vice President of Building Access and Fiber Network Construction. Terry manages the planning and development of the LOGIX Smart Building program by working closely with property managers and building owners. He also focusses on the expansion of the LOGIX advanced fiber network, providing customers with a redundant high-speed backbone supporting mission critical applications with the LOGIX PERFECT SERVICESM. Terry’s continuing goal is for LOGIX to always be the service provider of choice for tenants in the over 500 SMART Buildings within the LOGIX network.

In 1985 Terry joined American Telco, where he managed a wide range of functional areas and ultimately served as Director of Information Technology. He has held executive management positions at US Long Distance, Billing Concepts, and most recently served as COO of American Lightwave Communications, Inc., leading the initiative of BLEC infrastructure into multi-tenant buildings.

Prior to joining American Lightwave, Terry served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology at FirstWorld Communications, an Internet-hosting data center company headquartered in Denver, serving on the Executive Committee and having responsibility for product strategy and the creation of hosted and shared server environment technology.

Terry holds a Bachelor of Science Management/ Computer Information Systems degree from Park University.

Josh Schlensker

Vice President - Sales & Marketing

Josh joined LOGIX in 2011, bringing more than twelve years of sales experience, as Director of Sales for the North Region and was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing in January 2013. Josh’s responsibilities include overseeing sales performance, product development, and sales staff development.

Prior to joining LOGIX Josh was Vice President/General Manager at Airband Communications in Dallas, Texas. Josh also held the position of Director of Sales at Cbeyond in Dallas, Texas.

Douglas Rosenquist

Douglas Rosenquist

Vice President - Information Technology Services

Doug joined LOGIX in December 2009 bringing nearly 30 years of experience in information technology. He is responsible for all Information Systems requirements with emphasis on business and operations support systems. Doug has extensive experience creating high availability environments, including highly recoverable Disaster Recovery facilities, in banking and credit reporting businesses.

Prior to joining LOGIX, Doug was Vice President, Information Systems at Chevy Chase Bank. He also has held director-level positions at Innovis Data Solutions and TRW Information Systems and Services.

Howard Siegel

Howard Siegel

Vice President - External and Regulatory Affairs

Howard joined LOGIX in March 2003 and has served as Vice President of External and Regulatory Affairs since that time. His responsibilities currently include litigating both formal and informal disputes with incumbent local exchange carriers; witnessing on operational policy and economic issues, regulatory compliance, legislative and regulatory communications, and participating as LOGIX's primary contact in all industry forums, including both ILEC user forums and change management forums. Howard also provides general legal review over contracts and customer communications.

Howard began his career by spending two years in a private legal practice before joining the Texas Public Utility Commission’s Office of Policy Development as a senior attorney in November of 1995. By 1998, Howard had been promoted to a Director position in that office. His varied responsibilities at the Texas PUC included advising the Texas Commissioners on telecommunications and electric industry issues from legal, policy, and economic perspectives. At that time, Howard was given management and lead arbitrator responsibility over the Texas PUC's arbitrations pursuant to the Federal Telecommunications Act.

Howard's primary focus is to represent LOGIX's interests in all external environments whether legal, regulatory or operational in nature. Howard holds both a law degree and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Houston.

John Skidmore

John Skidmore

Vice President - Central Office Operations

John has almost thirty years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He spent twenty years in the U.S. Navy, serving in many areas of communications. Upon his retirement in 1983, he worked as a technician for U.S. Tel, which eventually became Sprint. He joined American Telco in 1987 and became Switch Operations Manager. He stayed with the company until it was sold in 1998 and continued on with the new owner, LOGIX, until joining American Lightwave Communications, Inc., in August 2000 as a Vice President, then rejoined LOGIX upon its acquisition by WCI.

Glenn Taylor

Vice President - Service

Glenn joined LOGIX in June 1998 with the acquisition of American Telco and has served as Vice President of Service since March 2000. His responsibilities currently include overseeing the management of Customer Care, the Technical Support Center, Network Surveillance, Account Relations, Customer Activation and the Field Service Department.

Glenn began his career with American Telco in August 1992 and has held the positions of Sales Representative, Sales Engineer, District Sales Manager, District Service Manager and Director of Account Consultants.

Glenn's primary focus is providing the customer with easy to use telecommunications services and superior customer support. Glenn holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Universal Technical Institute.

Gayla Wicker, SPHR

Gayla Wicker, SPHR

Vice President - PEOPLE!

Gayla joined LOGIX in July 2000 with more than twelve years of human resources management experience. As the Vice President of the PEOPLE! Department, she is responsible for the overall management of the human resources function, including benefits and payroll administration, recruiting and employee policies and procedures.

Prior to joining LOGIX, Gayla was Human Resources Manager at Kemper Cost Management. She also held a director-level position at C.H. Guernsey & Co., and was Vice President of Human Resources at Founders Bank & Trust Company.

Gayla attended college at Oklahoma State University and Southern Nazarene University. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management, as well as the Oklahoma City Human Resources Society. In January 2006, Gayla passed the Society of Human Resources Management certification exam earning her the distinction as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
