1983
On August 6, 1983, Ron Henriksen, a Houston native, formed a start-up long distance company, American Telco. Between 1983 and 1998 American Telco grew to a $52 million in annual revenue
1996
After The Telecom Act of 1996, American Telco becomes the first company to sign an interconnection agreement with Southwestern Bell allowing it to be the first facility-based telecommunications company to provide competitive local telephone service in Texas.
1998
American Telco is purchased by LOGIX Communications. Oklahoma-based LOGIX buys American Telco for its solid customer service reputation and brings it under the LOGIX name.
2000
In a visionary move, Henriksen founds American Lightwave to focus on the emergence of building-based voice and data solutions.
2002
Henriksen creates Western Communications, Inc. which purchases select customers and assets of both the original LOGIX Communications and "SMART Building" company American Lightwave Communications, Inc. and then establishes operations under the name of LOGIX.
2003
LOGIX reaches 10,000,000 square feet of Smart Building coverage in Houston and Oklahoma.
2004
LOGIX expands service to Spring and The Woodlands. This allows businesses in North Houston access to LOGIX’s full suite of advanced telephone, Internet and data services.
LOGIX Launches Free Internet Wireless Service in downtown Oklahoma City. LOGIX turns downtown Oklahoma City into its newest “hot spot” for Internet technology by providing free Wi-Fi wireless Internet service.
LOGIX Launches Broadband Answer to Small Business Needs. LOGIX Communications launched Broadband Advantage to simplify broadband access for small- and medium-sized businesses.
2005
LOGIX launches new branding campaign, "Simply better." The "Simply better." branding and advertising campaign calls attention to the company’s key competitive advantage—exceptional customer service.
2006
LOGIX celebrates 23rd birthday with another profitable quarter.
Matt Asmus becomes LOGIX CEO. Matt served as the company’s COO since March of 2000. Ron Henriksen is named Chairman of the Board.
LOGIX lobbies to protect consumer rights. LOGIX Communications is listed in the Wall Street Journal as being one of the top seven spenders for lobbying services in the telecommunications industry.
2007
LOGIX surpasses 200,000 mark for voice and data lines. LOGIX Communications has increased coverage of its SMART Building network in Tulsa by 30% since the end of 2006.
2008
LOGIX launches Business Class MPLS Solutions to its customers, bringing the power of fortune 500 network communications solutions to small and medium business
2009
LOGIX begins Metro fiber build in its major markets, investing millions into the LOGIX network.
LOGIX is recognized as 3rd "Largest Houston-Area Internet Service Providers" by the Houston Business Journal
LOGIX grows to 3rd position of Houston-Area Telecommunications Providers (Ranked by Number of Houston-Area Employees)
2010
LOGIX finishes its expansion in to its new 36,000 Square Feet of newly added office space at Brookhollow Central in Houston.
LOGIX installs 300,000 Access Lines to growing network.
2011
Craig Sheetz rejoins LOGIX as Chief Financial Officer where he is responsible for management and leadership of the company's financial activities.
LOGIX reaches 100,000,000 square feet of Smart BuildingSM coverage in Texas and Oklahoma markets.
LOGIX Metro Fiber build project exceeds 700 miles of installed fiber to serve customers' growing data needs throughout Houston and the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.
2012
LOGIX Cloud Service Launches LOGIX Managed Network Firewall to help the growing needs of business owners.
